This is me, Randy Rice, Head Architect. Designing custom buildings that exceed the expectations of our clients is one of the great joys of my life. What can I say, I love what I do!

Rice Architect, LLC is a custom home design firm with over 25 years of professional experience, specializing in oceanfront and near ocean construction. We provide a full range of services, from helping you select the site, designing the architecture, helping you select a qualified contractor, working with the contractor… all the way through to the completion of your home.

Stylistically, we adapt to our clients’ tastes, using Modern, Craftsman, Cottage and Low Country vernacular designs.

We are particularly adept at resolving complex issues where coastal permits or variances are required, working directly with local and state governments in order to expedite construction.
